Top Three Skimboarding Locations Near Vancouver British Columbia

The top three skimboarding locations in Vancouver are White Rock East Beach, Spanish Banks, and Centennial Beach.

East Beach:

White Rocks East Beach has a wide variety of tidal pools that are all very skimable as well as having a unique tide and great atmosphere. White Rocks tide does not go out very far which makes it unique as you are able to run out to the edge of the water as you please. White Rock also has great views as trains dive by every day alongside the White Rock pier and Beach Town vibes. 

Spanish Banks: 

Spanish Bank views top all others as you can capture some of the best photos and videos with the Vancouver skyline in the background. Not only does Spanish Banks have some of the best views but its unique mucky sand allows for some of the longest skims possible. Spanish Banks also has very few shells to look out for well running which is a huge bonus.

Centennial Beach:

Last but certainly not least is Centennial Beach the home to Kayotics Skimboards. Centennial Beach is an amazing place for skimboarding as it has hundreds of tidal pools and great facilities. At Centennial Beach tide can go out for over a kilometre. This allows for countless amazing places to skimboard as well as being able to find your own private pool away from the busy public beach.
